Our Story
Crossroads has always been about more than coffee.
We're a neighborhood coffeehouse in the heart of Cross Plains and a place to meet a friend, get some work done, catch up with someone you haven't seen in forever, bring the kids, read a book, or simply sit for a while with a really good cup of coffee.
We love being part of this community. We support local organizations, host events that bring people together, showcase local makers and artists, and do our best to create the kind of place where everyone feels welcome.
Because yes, we care a lot about good coffee. But we care just as much about creating a place people want to come back to.
A little about us.
Cross Plains has always been home for us. It's where we both grew up, where we met, and eventually where we decided to build our own life and raise our family.
We spent a little time away, including a newlywed adventure in Bayfield, Wisconsin, but when Miles came along, we knew it was time to come home.
Years later, getting to be part of Crossroads has given us an entirely new way to be part of the community that raised us.
We've loved watching friendships form across tables, seeing familiar faces walk through the door every morning, welcoming new people to town, and creating a space that can be whatever you need it to be that day.
So whether you've been coming to Crossroads for years or you're walking through our doors for the first time, we're glad you're here.
Come in. Stay awhile. We'll make the coffee.
And until we see you, may your coffee be strong and your Mondays be short. ❤️
~Dale, Katy, Miles and Madeline Ripp
